Hostaria Marsala 2

We tried 4 different restaurants in this village and this was our favorite. Very friendly host and excellent food. Had tuna tartare and octopus- both great. Normally not a bit fun of desserts but got some cheese cake for dessert that was amazing!

Excellent food, service and wine. The composition we had was wonderful and the place itself is super nice. It is a great location for a romantic dinner.

We were 2 adults and 2 children, the atmosphere was nice, the food was good and the waitress and waiter that served us were very friendly and paid attention to detail. They were children friendly where they adapted to our needs. I recommend!

Given that this place was above 9 on ThFork I had expected a better experience. The food was below par - my baccalà lacked flavour and my second course of mussels (cozze) we’re overcooked and rubbery. We were seated indoors and there was one table behind us - they were quite loud but the acoustics didn’t help so we found it difficult to converse as we couldn’t hear each other! Overall very disappointing.

They were very kind, in the absence of the main dish (tortellini) as it was in great demand, they still managed to let us taste a portion.... The rest of the lunch was really excellent.
