We found a relatively large farmhouse next to Yishui Lake. The room was OK and the price was good. We could walk to the scenic spot.

✔️It is an antique town building with some snacks and small shops inside, you can visit it. It is more commercialized, with many Internet celebrity snacks, as well as Baoding specialty snacks, such as covered cakes, but they are not authentic in Baoding City, so it is not recommended.

✔️You need to take a boat to enter the center of the scenic area. There are three docks:
📍Golden Turtle Dock: This dock I chose has a moderate boat ride time
📍Jinpo Dock: The longest boat ride time is about 30 minutes, the scenery is the best, but it is also the dock with the most people. I heard that during the holidays, you have to queue for 2-3 hours to get on the boat.
📍Dam Dock: There are the least people, and the shortest boat ride time is about 10 minutes. If you are not very persistent about the boat ride experience, you can choose it. However, the return trip from the Dam Dock will pass through Taihang Water Town, and there is a risk of traffic jams.
👉🏻The three docks correspond to different colored bracelets. Where you get on the boat and return to the city is where you get off.
✔️After getting off the boat, there is a scenic trail to go up the mountain. The slope and length are moderate, and there is basically no difficulty. It is a leisure route that can be completed by the elderly and children.
✔️There are no catering facilities in the scenic area. It is recommended to either go early in the morning and go to Yi County for lunch after the tour; or go shopping after dinner.

At the west gate of Taihang Water Town, there is a shop that makes authentic handmade noodles.
