Musee des Suisses dans le Monde

This is an interesting, nationalistic museum about the lives of Swiss people abroad. I didn't think you could make a museum out of it but it was actually quite interesting and enjoyable. Well firstly the building it is in is a 19th Century chateau - in a lovely environment.You get to learn all about the movement of Swiss people around the world, from the Swiss military service which is said to be the first globalised business in the world, fighting other people's battles and even to today - the Swiss guards at the Vatican!Something a little different to see when in Geneva :)

Beautiful museum focused on the lives of Swiss in the world, including the Swiss guards protecting the Vatican. The building where it is hosted is very beautiful, a 19th century castle. That is worth it!

This is a curiosous museum where the history of Swiss people who emigrated outside the country is telling. The history of migration is counted through bankers, military, scientists, explorators, correspondents, diplomats ... An interesting vision in a nice building.
