Stopped by for food on a Sunday: saw they did roasts so we ordered the roast of the day which was pork. The food arrived quite quickly to our table in the garden which we liked because it had seats in the sun and in the shade. There were plenty of waitresses and the tables were cleared quickly. The garden is also dog friendly.

Always a pleasure to eat at Nawab. The owner and all the staff are amazing and very attentive to our needs. Nothing is too much trouble.

I&#39;ve been to this pub many times. The staff are great and very friendly. The food is top notch and ive tried many of their dishes. Its great for a relaxing pint or if you have kids its extremely kiddy friendly. my kids have come to this pub and often have colouring pencils etc handed to them which keeps them happy while we chat! would definately recommend it to anyone wanting to find a pub in highgate

Good outdoor venue. However, we were here for birthday drinks, ordered one round of espresso martinis ... When someone later went to ask for another the bartender said they had run out of coffee and ice. Later, someone else asked and was told they don&#39;t serve them. Then some was later told they don&#39;t serve them. Later, they were too busy. Why have them on the menu if you are not willing to serve them?!? Poor service and we won&#39;t be going back

We live in Highgate and have never been to this pub before preferring the village locations. It was &#39;jazz night so we thought nice dinner and serene jazz music in the background, our expectations were not even met! 1) the bar staff looked like they had been press ganged into service and took and age to get our drinks. Also the bar was swimming in spilt drinks with nobody cleaning the surface. 2) the tables were cluttered with empty glasses and not wiped. 3) the toilets were less than welcoming (ladies and gents). 4) the &quot;jazz band&quot; basically were so loud, especially the over zealous drummer that we had to leave before ordering the food. He was banging the drums like he was at a open air rock festival and not sure his interpretation of progressive jazz is real. As my title says awful, awful, awful and never ever again. Maybe the owners/managers should make a surprise visit to check out the value proposition they are selling??
