This Anglican Church is one of the oldest landmarks in the country. It was built in 1818 by convicts and at the entrance is a memorial canopy in remembrance of Captain Francis Light, when he first landed in Penang.

A very beautiful church, built by the British in 1819 and affiliated to the East India Company. It’s really amazing. After reading so many history books, it’s the first time I saw the buildings left by them. This beautiful scenery adds history, and it seems like going back in time. Two hundred years!
