What people are saying:

The Botanical Gardens came to existence in 1884. Previously it was an old granite quarry. The Gardens were known as "The waterfall Gardens", because at the end of the Botanic Gardens is a 122-metre high cascade waterfall with its water flowing through the Gardens. Early in the morning you can see people crowd here to jog, exercise and breath the clean and fresh air.

After a drizzle, with no other civilians in totality. The epitome of serenity, at Penang Botanic Gardens.. Pictures taken at 1pm on 7/7/2020

Not for visitors without a guide

Great Place For Early Evening Running

I took my kids for an early evening run around the gardens. The larger loop is 1.9km and the smaller is 0.9km, both of which have significant ascents and descents. Nice place to run. There is a Lin...
