I gave the food quality a low score because it was not hot when it arrived and so my companion had almost finished their meal by the time I got my meal -not convinced it hadn&#39;t just been warmed up rather than a new dish - everything else was excellent

I was a little hesitate when first booking this due to some of the reviews online - however I am thrilled to say that the negatives reviews were either exaggerated or resolved. The service, food quality and ambience were immaculate, I couldn&rsquo;t fault it if I tried. Our server couldn&rsquo;t be more helpful and wasn&rsquo;t overbearing and even helped with an anniversary surprise. Will be back very shortly. Couldn&rsquo;t recommend highly enough.

Had a lovely lunch with family, we asked to sit in a quieter area hence we&#39;re away from view of staff in a raised area - despite us being out of view the staff were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely eat at Fire Lake again

This place is magical. If you love cats then it is great. Even if you don&#39;t love cats the happiness one of the furry four legged beings gives you when it comes over and gives you some love will make you smile. The staff are fabulous in every way and the food is served fast and is perfect for a light lunch surrounded by cats!

The environment is very good, the bread is very delicious, the bathroom is even better 😍😛

The food and restaurant was good but we were really disappointed when they brought our main course when we had just finished the starter, they had not even removed the first course plates, we like to have a gap between the courses, this spoiled the meal for us.

Me and my sister went for a nice meeting before work and the food was wonderful steak was cooked beautifully and the scallops are fantastic.

Ordered a pork dinner and a beef dinner. What came was lovely but then we saw other dinners being brought out with much more veg and other parts of the meal (stuffing and crackling off the pork dinner) were missing. Desserts: ordered the trio of which was nice but the cinnamon sponge was not a sponge - more like a cinnamon bun. Quite disappointing.

Be aware, I invited my friend for lunch and booked the lunch/ early evening menu but was informed on arrival it was a bank holiday and not available. I assume it was the maitre&rsquo;d who told me there was no record on their system of my booking that menu. He said if I could find the confirmation he would see what could be arranged. I found this very embarrassing as I had made the invitation to my friend. I finally found the confirmation email and the menu was honoured. If booking on a bank holiday, be aware.
