A decent, family-oriented museum hosting a variety of artifacts. You can follow the history of Leeds from the prehistoric times, through Roman period up to modernity. They even have a couple of Egyptian mummies. Great for families, otherwise should not be too high on your priority list to visit.

During the Light Night Festival, you will find some exhibitions in the museum.
fun day for all the family, boasting plenty of exhibitions for a small venue.

Leeds city Museum is a fantastic place for us to explore and emerge in the history and development of this city.
