EI Hedim Square, after coming out of the alleys that went round and round in the Arab area of Meknes, suddenly the view was wide, and it was a large square in front of us. There were crowds of people in the square, with small vendors, monkeys, etc., opposite the famous Mansor City Gate.
If you’ve been to the sleepless square, you’ll immediately say, “Is this a miniature sleepless square!” It’s true. The square is just across the gate of Mansor, and it’s a market, where most stalls sell food and perform snake dances.
This is the largest square in the center of Meknes. It is very large. The surrounding buildings are mostly Islamic. There are many vendors around. You can go shopping.
