Good food but a little expensive. Especially compared to some of the other italian in Melbourne. The service was about as good as you can get though. Probably some of the better service we have had in Melbourne, the waitress was excellent and the chef made a little change to one of our dishes at our request. The kitchen is open at the end of the restaurant and its a cool twist to see the chefs preparing the food and even interacting with some customers. If it was a little cheaper or the meals were a little bigger it would rate higher but the quality of the food was great, a perfect steak and the hand cuts chips were a highlight.
