    Ugly blot on the landscape

    It is certainly impressive, and imposing, but let's be honest it's not pretty! You can see it from all around the city (even from my hotel room - see pic) so no need to "visit" it... and sooner or lat...

    Must for fans of brutalism

    Anyone interested in architecture or brutalism should spend some time visiting the Torre Velasca. Great to see from the outside close up- just a shame you can’t go inside.
