Really nice restaurant with terrific food and staff.The owner/ manager is very hands on and chatted about our experience and thoughts about the food and if we thought anything could be improved.  These conversations were all quite casual and relaxed, with genuine interest in our dining experience.

This seafood restaurant on the Mornington Peninsula is highly recommended, and he drives on the edge of the coast to enjoy the delicious seafood while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Mornington Peninsula. In addition to seafood, the most recommended is the seafood hamburger, fried fish steak, or salmon strips, with a variety of vegetables and sauces, wrapped into a black hamburger, not only novel, but also very good taste, definitely worth a taste.

Terrific service and the food was lovely. Big of a tight squeeze between tables but the food, ambience and service made the evening very enjoyable

Loved the arancini and gnocchi. My wife loved the kingfish crudo and barramundi. Nice wines by the glass. Loved the Pinot noir from Tasmania. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All over too quickly.

This is my favourite &quot;Go-TO&quot; restaurant in Mornington. The staff are super attentive and the food is amazing! Through all the Covid-19 issues and closures, the people at Assaggini always remained positive and welcomed a us back with open arms every time the restrictions were lifted.Highly recommended
