I have seen Jinghai Temple and walked to Yuejiang Building on foot. "One river runs through the sea and thousands of miles, two memories of the six hundred autumns." This wonderful couplet is a true portrayal of the six hundred years of the Yuejiang Tower. It is located on the main peak of Lion Rock and faces the Yangzizi River. It is one of the classical buildings of Nanjing landmark. In the record, it is one of the "four famous buildings in the south of the Yangtze River" with the same name as Yueyang Tower, Tengwang Pavilion and Yellow Crane Tower. But in history, it is just a "castle in the air" that exists on paper. After the 600 years, a real Jinxiu Pavilion finally stood on the Lion Rock.
