Town Hall

The town hall in Pamplona, the capital of the Navarra region of Spain, is located in the town hall square (Plaza Consitorial). Every year at 12:00 noon on July 6th, the mayor lights a Chupinazo on the balcony of the hall to announce the start of San Fermin Festival, which is the famous bullfighting festival. He is the patron saint of Pamplos. It is said that this activity existed in the 15th century.

Pamplona City Hall, best known for its annual July 6 noon, is where the mayor stands to announce the start of the Bull Festival. The police began guarding there before 8 o'clock that morning. People and tourists attending the bull festival flocked to the square downstairs of the city hall. Once the mayor announced the start, everyone began to devote themselves to the carnival.
