What an interesting museum. It is a walk from the center of Bruges but it is worth it and, it is very close to the Bruges windmill so you can easily do both. The museum shows different aspects of everyday life for Belgians many years ago. There are various themed rooms and these items are easy to understand, but I would recommend you pick up the free information folder and carry it with you. There are lots of interactive activities and these are very interesting for adults! Especially there are traditional games to try in the yard. I love the other things about this museum, it has its own cat, Aristide, and its own bar/bar room, which is actually part of the attraction. Beer is probably the cheapest in Bruges! Highly recommend a quirky experience.

It really is a folk museum that reflects the changes in the folk customs here, and reflects the footprints of history to the present. It is a really good experience.
After visiting the Jerusalem church, you can have time to see this museum that shows the historical life of the locals.
The museum introduces the history of Bruges, with many medieval objects.
