Ljubljana Castle is a landmark building of Ljubljana. It was built in the 12th century. It is a complex of Roman, Gothic and Renaissance buildings. It used to be a police station, castle and prison in history. Now it is a viewing platform for citizens and tourists to overlook the whole city of Ljubljana. Inside the castle are: Pentagon Tower, Gun Tower, Medieval Prison, Museum, and Open Cafe. Usually there are three ways to get to Lubljana Castle: drive up by car, take a cable car, and walk up the hillside.
