Lübeck Cathedral, built in 1173 by Lion Henry. During World War II (1942), part of Lübeck Cathedral was blown up and later rebuilt, but the organ was lost in fire. The current church was completed in 1982. The works of Burnt Notko (Bernt Notke) and Thomas Quellinus survived the bombing of 1942. Hans Memlin's famous altar is now in the St. Anne's Museum in Lübeck.

The main church of Lübeck has a long history and is not far from the hotel where I live. However, when we passed by, someone was doing worship and did not encourage the visit. There were not many tourists, but there were many restaurants around to eat.
