The Oxford Museum of History of Science is situated in an ancient building opposite the Bodleian Library. It's easy to find. Established in 1924, as a museum of Oxford University, the museum is not only for the study of the history of science, but also for the development of Western culture and collections. The Museum has three floors, collecting tens of thousands of cultural relics from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century, covering almost all aspects of the history of science, especially the collection of astronomical instruments such as stars, sundials, quadrants, early mathematical tools, optical instruments and so on. In addition, the collection of devices related to chemistry, natural philosophy and medicine is considerable. The museum is free to visit.
