Very near of my hotel, I think I would not have stopped if it wasn't by a recommendation. The Sege al pesto picante is abstolutely fabulous. Te place is small and very local, not a lot of turists. Very traditional, ruled by the owner who's a typical mamma. Must take a visiti if you´re in Siena.

Very clean place. Meals cooked like at home. Pasta de la Nona, lins soup, rosted potatoes with a glass of redwine della casa. A good place for diner before doing something else.

It is a small modest restaurant on the side of the road. The lady owner and her daughter cook simple local dishes with love and it shows. The ingredients are organics whenever possible, the taste is authentic. The prices are very reasonable. What's not to love ???
