What travelers say:
We arrived without a booking on a busy Saturday night and were greeted by a lady (who seemed to either be the owner or manager) so offered us a table outside, very apologetically. This was absolutely fine and the heater was turned on. When we sat down we were moved to another table because it turns out they wanted to create a table of 4 for another group. She was super apologetic and this was absolutely fine. When the group of 4 didn't show up she let us move back. Something that would have made some fussy customers annoyed, but being a former hospitality worker I know exactly how it is, and the lady was just the loveliest person. We ordered zucchini dumplings, lamb and beef balls, a bowl of chips (on my girlfriends request) and a slow cooked lamb and potato dish. I don't often eat Greek food because I've always been overwhelmed by feta and carbs, but man this was actually amazingly delicious food. The cheesy sauce for the zucchini dumplings was gorgeous, and the lamb just fell apart in our mouths. Despite being very busy the food came out promptly and the service was always present and smiley. Just before our food came out another table of 4 showed up but this time the owner/manager lady constructed a table in another outdoor spot because she didn't want to move us again, and then she made a remark about the madness yet fun of the business. It really did have a fun family vibe to it, the food was of high quality in a very relaxed environment, and we will certainly be returning. Walked away stuffed full and at $36 a head.
