Thailand's tallest building and a landmark of Bangkok—the Pixel Building
Thailand's tallest building and the new landmark of the capital, Bangkok—MahaNakhon, was started in 2011 and completed in 2016. The building is 320 meters high, with a total of 77 floors, and a construction area of 150,000 square meters, serving as an urban complex that integrates accommodation, entertainment, and dining.
MahaNakhon, which means 'great metropolis' in Thai, is colloquially known as the 'Pixel Building' due to its pixelated facade. The completion of the building has transformed Bangkok's skyline, and its striking profile symbolizes the city's stride into the ranks of international metropolises.
The building's most recognizable creative feature is its sci-fi-esque 'erosion' design. The exterior glass curtain wall, paired with block-like windows, gives the entire building a minimalist and refined style.
Geometric modules around the tower create an effect of varying protrusions and recessions, giving the impression of an unfinished structure.
The Pixel Building, whether during the day, at dusk, or at night, and regardless of whether it's sunny, rainy, or overcast, always presents a different charm.

what an amazing building! we couldn’t believe our eyes. the cost to access the sky terrace was reasonable and well worth the cost! great eateries as well
This is the coolest building I have ever seen. The pixelated design and immensity of the tower is just jaw-dropping. There’s a rooftop deck with a clear glass bottomed sky walk that you can buy tickets for in the lobby (about 1,000 baht per person or about $30 USD). The views of Bangkok from the top of the tower are spectacular and the sky walk was really cool (although a bit terrifying). Gotta give props to those people popping around on that thing with no fear lol.
The view admired from the building is really beautiful seeing the whole Bangkok. It is such a scenic view. A restaurant served in the Mahanakhon building is also luxurious. Overall is impressive. Coming here can be listed in your Bangkok itinerary:)
If you are planning a trip to Bangkok soon, make sure you add King Power Mahanakhon to your itinerary. This place is insanely beautiful especially during sunset.
