When I first entered the Summer Palace, I stepped into the gate of the Summer Palace. The first thing I saw was the vast Kunming Lake and the beautiful Wanshou Mountain. Kunming Lake is blue and rippling, the lake is dotted with several cruise ships, and the 17-hole bridge in the distance spans the lake like a silver chain. On Wanshou Mountain, the Buddha Pavilion stands tall and magnificent, and it is breathtaking. Walking along the promenade along the lake, I came to the promenade of the Summer Palace. The corridor is 728 meters long and is the longest gallery in the world. Walking in the corridor, it seems to be in a beautiful picture. There are a large number of color drawings on the wall, depicting the myths, historical allusions and natural scenery of ancient China. Each painting is lifelike, showing the exquisite art of ancient Chinese painting. The Buddha Xiang Pavilion is reached from the promenade to the foot of Wanshou Mountain, and the stone steps are climbed to the Buddha Xiang Pavilion. This three-story building on eight sides is the commanding height of the Summer Palace. Overlooking the entire park, the beautiful scenery of Kunming Lake has a panoramic view. The buildings on the lakeside are scattered, and the mountains in the distance are faintly visible. Standing here, it seems that you can feel the comfort of the former royal family here. Roam Suzhou Street down the mountain path and come to Suzhou Street. This is a market modeled after the Jiangnan water town. The buildings on both sides are built by the water. There are shops on both sides of the street, including tea houses, wine shops, bookstores, etc. Walking on Suzhou Street, it seems to have traveled back to ancient times and experienced the style of Jiangnan water town. After visiting Suzhou Street by boat, I decided to take a boat tour of Kunming Lake. Sitting on the boat, the breeze blows, the lake is clear and the surrounding scenery is picturesque. When passing the 17-hole bridge, the stone lions on the bridge are lifelike, and each one is different. The boat traveled to the center of the lake, the island's silhouette stood quietly, and the carved beams in the pavilion were beautifully painted. Unknowingly, the sunset was going down, and the Summer Palace was shrouded in a golden glow. The Kunming lake was sparkling, and Wanshou Mountain looked more magnificent under the sunset. At this moment, everything in the garden seems to be covered with a mysterious veil, giving a sense of tranquility and solemnity. The end of this visit to the Summer Palace not only let me appreciate the grandeur and exquisiteness of this royal garden, but also let me feel the greatness and profound cultural heritage of ancient Chinese architectural art. The beauty of the Summer Palace makes me linger. It is not only the perfect combination of nature and humanities, but also an important witness to China's history and culture. The view of the Summer Palace is good. The location is in Haidian District. There are a lot of people. It is recommended to make an appointment to buy tickets in advance. Go for a whole circle and walk for about two hours. It is basically a large park inside.
