Self-driven Alpine Rollercoaster in Dalat!A solo trip to the Datanla Adventures Park on the alpine rollercoaster! Never a fan of rollercoaster since young but the ride in nature hits different for it was really exciting, thrilling, and yes super safe. Staffs on duty ensures that guest are buckled up, demonstrated how to use the hand brakes to lower down the speed or stop when you need to. Release the brakes to go fast. Whoever who built this is a super genius. The alpine coaster will stop at the Datanla waterfalls whereby guest can enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. Truly therapeutic to be listening to the sounds of the waterfall. 🇻🇳 Great fun @ Datanla WaterfallDalat is a hidden gem that you should include in your Ho Chi Minh City trip itinerary. Located 300 km from HCMC, Dalat is just an hour flight or an overnight bus away from HCMC. One of my favourite destinations in Dalat is Datanla Waterfall. We visited Datanla Waterfall after visiting Truc Lam Buddhist Monastery located by Tuyen Lam Lake. It was a short taxi ride away from the exit of the monastery. Datanla Waterfall is part of the Datanla Tourist Area, which offers various recreational activities for visitors. A unique and thrilling way to reach the waterfall is by taking the alpine coaster. We got the opportunity to descend through the lush forest to reach the base of the waterfall. After visiting the waterfall, we took the alpine coaster up to the same starting point. If you are a thrill-seeker like me, you should not miss the High Rope Course & Zipline located next to the alpine coaster. It was the best obstacle and zipline course that I have ever had. I got plenty of opportunities to soar above the lush greenery and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as I zip from one platform to another. The highlight is the roller coaster ride. The waterfall below is beautiful too.
We took the alpine coaster to the waterfall and had a blast! The ride was so much fun and I‘d recommend it to anyone. We booked our ticket on Klook and exchanged it at the ticket booth (after having issues with a really unfriendly lady who just didn’t want to do her job)… anyways… once getting to the waterfall you can walk around, look at your pictures taken along the ride and jump on the next one to get back to the start!
