The strange forest covering an area of 1.34 million square meters (about the area of Beijing Palace Museum + Beihai Park, or Shanghai Century Park) was originally a lush Populus euphratica forest. In the 1990s, the water table was sharply reduced due to the lack of water in the upper reaches, resulting in the oasis becoming a desert. Poplars became dead branches. Seeing joy in sadness, showing the stubbornness of Populus euphratica "withered and not dead for a thousand years", achieving a spectacular view of the "Populus euphratica forest monument". There are more groups of tourists, anxiously waiting for the west of the sun, dead trees turned into beautiful silhouettes.
