Played in Haikou for days, an ultra-practical and comprehensive guide
After my real experience in Haikou in January, sisters who are planning to go should read this guide before you leave!
Although Haikou is the provincial capital, it's only the size of a palm and has no subway. Buses, taxis, and electric bikes are all very convenient. Take a taxi directly to the hotel after getting off the plane, and never take an unlicensed cab.
If you choose to travel by electric bike, don't go too far, or you'll end up miserably pushing the bike back, which is really embarrassing.
Before coming to Haikou, be sure to check the weather, as it can rain for several days without notice, which really ruins the experience.
The prices on the Arcade Old Street are a bit high, but it's really worth a visit. There are many delicious snacks and it's great for taking photos. Remember to bargain, it's the most beautiful arcade I've seen so far, with unique windows and reliefs.
Haikou is considered to have the most food options in Hainan. You can't go wrong following the students to the Haida South Gate Night Market and Guilinyang Snack Street.
For duty-free shopping in Haikou, you can go to Riyue Plaza and CDF Duty-Free Shop. The former has been open for a long time, while the latter is newly opened, with more benefits and complete facilities, making for a comfortable shopping experience.
The Yundong Library and Hainan Museum are worth visiting, but remember to make a reservation in advance, as they are extremely popular during peak seasons! They are closed on Mondays, and the Yundong Library looks good from any angle, especially during the sunset.
At the North-South Fruit Market, the joy of fruit is right here, about 4 kilometers from the museum, with a rich variety of fruits and cheap prices, 10💰 for 3 coconuts, 5💰 for a big box of jackfruit, eat to your heart's content.
The Haikou Bell Tower, I think it looks better to take pictures from the opposite side, where there are rows of coconut trees.
Scenic spots suitable for watching the sunset: Century Bridge, Yundong Library, Holiday Beach, Sky Mountain Station. It is recommended to go around 5 PM.
You can rent a cheongsam inside the Feng Xiaogang Movie Commune and take Republic of China-style photos that are very charming.
Xiuying Beach Park is known as one of the eight wonders of Haikou, suitable for leisurely enjoying the seascape and playing with sand on the beach.

[View] Beachside view; Century Park by the sea; Under the Century Bridge; Night view is more beautiful; Famous net red punch card place; reading, walking, running are good; [Fun] Many [Cost-effective] Very high
Take a walk with your family to Century Park and visit the Internet Red Library. It is a net red. This building is absolutely amazing! It's so beautiful! It's a worthwhile trip, but there are too many people during the Spring Festival and I decided to take pictures and punch in after a while.
