It is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshinji school. It is located near Himeji Castle, but it seems that there are few worshipers other than the Dan family because it is off the tourist route. There is a parking lot in front of the mountain gate, so there is no problem with worshiping by car. The temple monument in front of the parking lot is "Zen sect Hoshimiji". In the precincts, "the Bodhi monument of the dead" by the great water in the second year of Kanen is erected.
