Takahashi Park is located between Kumamoto Castle and the Tsuboi River that flows east. This park was created to commemorate a man named Morio Yokoi, who once served as mayor of Kumamoto and laid the foundation for the town of Kumamoto. There was a statue called "Yokoi Kokusu and the Ishin Gunzo" in this park. The person standing in the center is Kokusu Yokoi, a thinker from Kumamoto. It seems that he follows Ryoma Sakamoto and Kaishu Katsu next to him.
