Beautiful cityscape or electric wires stand out.
Original Text
I happened to pass the castle town of Morimachi on the way to see Hanatezu at Suehiro Shrine in Kusunomori Town. It was a beautiful cityscape, but it was a pity that the electric wires were a little conspicuous, probably because there were many shops that were closed due to the influence of the new corona. There was also the former Kurumajima garden nearby, which was an interesting place.
The cityscape that left the atmosphere of the castle town was quiet. Since it is the birthplace of Takehiko Kurumajima, which was called Andersen in Japan, it is activated as a fairy tale village. In the cityscape of the castle town, there were stone statues of the main characters of fairy tales such as the statue of Kintaro, the statue of Taro Urashima, the statue of Issunboshi, and the statue of Momotaro.
In Morimachi, the castle town, I stopped by in the evening on the way to a hotel in Hita city around the rental car from Oita Airport to the autumn leaves points such as Lake Kanyurin, Iida Kogen, and Kusuikei. The location of the free sightseeing parking lot and the tourist information center was difficult to understand and confused, but I was able to take a walk by sunset. You can see a beautiful townscape while swinging, but in addition to the fact that the tourist information center is closed at 16:00 and you can't get maps and pamphlets, there are few information boards, so what is there ...
Old Kuliudao Garden と Qifeng Garden, Moguang Shen が Array House です.

A castle town of the Bungomori domain. The Jinya of the feudal lord Kurumajima is located in the current Mishima Park, and the garden remains in the park. Takehiko Kurumajima, who is said to be Andersen in Japan, is from Morimachi, and the town is a fairy tale village, and a stone statue of Momotaro is installed. Although it is a small town, the cityscape was maintained on both sides of the road leading to the Warabe no Yakata, and there were old Western-style buildings.
You can take a walk very calmly because it has not become a tourist destination. I was able to hear the history of the formation of a castle town at the Warabe no Yakata with the library.

Cute castle town
