Chen Taiwei Palace

Chen Taiwei Palace was built in the third year of Liang Kaiping (909) of the Five Dynasties. It was originally Chen's family ancestral hall and was built by Chen Su. It is not surprising that the thousand-year-old ancient building has been rebuilt in the past dynasties, but the coexistence of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing architectural styles within one palace is a major feature of Chen Taiwei Palace. It was listed as a state-protected cultural relic unit. The entire building of Chen Taiwei Palace did not use a single nail, and it has been unshakable for thousands of years. It is a masterpiece of ancient craftsmen. After being eroded by wind and rain, more than a dozen pillars in the main hall have been eaten by white ants to varying degrees. Some of them can be seen to have been eaten away by white ants, and some beams and pillars have been tilted. It is reported that the province has allocated huge sums of money to formulate plans for repairs.
