Shigu Temple

I have seen Shigu Temple in Baoji before. This time I also met in Wugong Mountain. It is also near the visitor center. The first stop is the brand new temple here. It can also be called Wugong Wangye Palace.

Legend has it that the Qianlong emperor came to the south of the Yangtze River to collapse under Wugong Mountain to collapse the Buddha, suddenly heard the water outside the mountain stream, and looked for it after the sound, which was the sound of the rushing stream hitting a drum-shaped boulder. Qianlong hit the stone three times with a wooden stick, and the sound of the drums made three sounds. The golden roof of Wugong Mountain was bright and the Buddha was shining. Qianlong was very happy and said: "Stone can be drums, rare in the world". So he gave the name "Stone Gu Temple".

Located at the foot of the mountain, the ancient temple is very few tourists. The vegetation below the mountain is rich, the trees are lush, the stream waterfalls are beautiful, and the deep and beautiful; there are 3 routes above the mountain to climb to the top, and you can enjoy different scenery. The strange pine similar to the Huangshan pine is also increasing. The old and new cableway platforms are connected by a long anti-corrosion wooden plank road in the middle of the mountain, and you can easily enjoy the scenery of the mountains and forests along the way. In the middle section, a small glass platform with an outstretched about 2 meters is specially set up, and you can stand on it to experience the feeling of a heartbeat.
