April 4th The weather was nice around noon, so I drove to a popular spot for cherry blossoms. This season is full every year, what about this year? From the parking lot, take a gentle uphill to the entrance. The wind feels comfortable. 2,000 cherry trees are in full bloom. Only cherry trees go to the top in the grove. Usually, it's a lunch box on the bench around here. There is a castle and a shrine at the top. The view from the castle tower is also the best because you can see Seto Ohashi Bridge, Kannonji City, Takase Town, etc. in the distance.

The cherry blossom viewing season is extremely crowded. The road leading to the summit where cherry blossoms are in bloom is congested by car and will not move. There is no parking lot for the summit. (If you just look at it, you can go down through the cherry blossoms.) If you want to drive to the top of the mountain during the cherry blossom viewing season, you need to go a little early in the morning. Or weekdays.

Mt. Asahi in Takase-cho, Mitoyo City has about 2000 cherry blossom trees in this region. It's just in full bloom and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom as far as the eye can see, and it's very beautiful. There were many people and the parking lot was full. A short walk will bring you a castle on the top overlooking the entire mountain.
