Nice stop for a day.
While the town is similar to Chania, the crowds are smaller, which makes getting around much easier. This is especially true if you have a rental car and need to find parking. Worth the visit.
Lovely old town. Great bars and restaurants. Watch out for the ones trying to get you to eat and drink there. Expensive and not very good. The laid back friendly ones are much better.
Full hat. Walked the shore with the taverns - one other "better." That illumination in the style of "Eyes," then the name "Cannibal," then the noisy crowd inside. Find the quieter "Day & Night," called ...

Spectacular city
The contrast of their Venetian and Turkish cask, as is La Canea, makes this city especially pleasant to walk and/or go shopping.
