Ke Ling Former Residence

147 Fuxing West Road, built in 1933. The building is a rectangular plane with a slight bump and an outdoor staircase on the left to reach the second floor. The red tiled slope roof, the chimney protruding on the roof, and there is a white semicircular decoration belt under the armpit. The doors and windows are varied in form, with stringed columns and yellow cement-pulled exterior walls. The overall appearance of the building looks like a detached garden house, but the interior has obvious apartment building characteristics. The interior space is divided into one set of floors, two sets of two, three sets of housing, each with a separate kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room.

There is a circle of iron stairs on the first floor that is very emotional, but it is really narrow and small. I personally feel that if you weigh more than 120 pounds, don't consider stepping on it. The second floor is Mr. and Mrs. Keling's original residence, which is said to have lived in Room 203 in the building for nearly half a century, where he completed the screenplay "Everlasting City" and the novel "Shanghai 100 Years".
