Shenyang Yong'an Bridge

Yongan Bridge is located in Yongan Village, Masanjiazi Township, Yuhong District, Shenyang City, commonly known as Dashiqiao. Yong'an Bridge was built in the sixth year of Chongde in the Qing Dynasty (1641). It was the only way for the emperors of the Qing Dynasty to travel eastward. It is also a relatively complete stone arch bridge in Shenyang City and is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. Yongan Bridge is a three-hole stone arch bridge with a total length of 37 meters, an outer width of 14.5 meters, a road width of 8.9 meters, and a bridge head width of 12 meters. Nineteen stone railings stand on both sides of the bridge body. The stone pillars at the end of the bridge are carved lions, and the others are lotus leaf-shaped stigmas. On both sides of the bridge, there are a pair of beautifully carved male and female lions facing each other. The balustrades of the bridge are decorated with persimmon patterns and cirrus patterns, and the drum-holding stones outside the end columns are engraved with deer, tiger, unicorn, rhinoceros, sheep, butterflies and other patterns. On the north side of the bridge, there are two dragons probing their heads, and on the south side of the bridge, a pair of dragon tails are exposed.
