If you are looking for tranquil serenity near Tokyo....
Great place for photo shooting. There's a budget hotel right around the corner. Huge traditional festival during the summer with lots of street venders I'm sure you are going to enjoy.
Asama Shrine near Tanizuka Station on the Tobu Skytree Line. There is also Fujizuka on the premises.

3 minutes walk from Tanizuka Station on the Tobu Sky Tree Line. Asama Shrine along the old Nikko Kaido. There is also Fujizuka in the precincts, and there are many stalls on fairs to enjoy the old atmosphere.
The date of the establishment of Asama Shrine is unknown, but it is said that our company, which was enshrined elsewhere, was relocated to this area during the Meiji era (1655-1657). It is said that it was listed as a village shrine in 1897, and nine surrounding Mukakusha were enshrined from 1897 to 1897.
The latest sensors and the wide precincts, in a sense a mysterious space

It is located along Prefectural Road 49, about a 4-minute walk from Tanizuka Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line (Tobu Skytree Line). It seems. The Chozuya in front of the main shrine has a sensor and water comes out when you hold your hand, and there are many other shrines such as new branch shrines (Shimoasama Sha shrine, Asama Inari Sha shrine), Asama Garden, and Fujizuka. ...

Surprisingly good!
I don't go much when I live in the local area, but when I go there, it's unexpectedly good and I want to go again! It is a shrine that makes me think.
