the birthplace of a person who made a name for himself by the kogai river

    Original Text

From my house, drive 20 minutes. From National Highway 6 to the narrow 1.5 lane on the embankment along the Kokai River, and as soon as you go down under the embankment, you will find this memorial hall. The building itself was a simple wooden structure that rebuilt its birthplace, and although there are few exhibits, it was a memorial hall enough to feel the historical achievements of the expedition to Sakhalin such as the Mamiya Strait.

It's in the middle of the field. The parking lot is spacious.

    Original Text

It was in the middle of the field because it was the place of my birthplace. There are few exhibits, but I saw a video of about 10 minutes and understood Mr. Rinzo Mamiya well. The admission fee is as cheap as 100 yen, so I visited without taking too much time. The birthplace was also beautifully preserved.

It's in a bad place with bad traffic access.

    Original Text

There is no nearest station, so I went by car, but there are only rice fields, farmhouses, and farm roads in the vicinity, and there is no place to mark, so I get a little lost without a navigation system. Materials, statues, and houses are the highlights. I think this is the only place that is gathered here.

    A spectacular exhibition

    Original Text

For the generation who learned Mamiya Rinzo in elementary and junior high schools, does it have the nostalgia that Sakhalin is the land of Japan? Well, it's a small building, but when I first saw a video that summarizes the achievements of Rinzo Mamiya's life, I felt that I could understand the great meaning of the map of Sakhalin and the Strait of Mamiya. However, I am impressed that the elaborate map was well made with the technology at that time. Ainu is also involved in important parts, and children and students will also learn about the history of the north ...

Tsukuba Mountain を Wangむ Memorial Hall

    Original Text

Professor Rinzo asked for a career in Mt. Tsukuba at Mt. Tsukuba. A place I also love. It is built to look at Mt. Tsukuba. He was intelligent since he was a child. It made me think that old people are amazing. You can watch Mr. Hayashi's life in the video and see the survey map. It was very good.
