Retro architecture in Josai District
Original Text
The building certainly made me think that such a bank building was still active in the Showa era. The interior was a cafe space and product sales. I thought if it was a car, I would have bought vegetables or fruits and returned. The parking lot was also behind the scenes, which is rare in the city of Tsuyama. There was also a bicycle parking lot together. It was a bicycle, so it was a distance that I didn't particularly care about, but I think it's a good distance from Tsuyama Station and Tsuyama Castle on foot.
Those who plan to visit here at Building Appreciation ファン [PORT ART & DESIGN TSUYAMA] are also recommended to be compared and appreciated.

I visited Tsuyama sightseeing for 1 night and 2 days at Building Appreciation ファン because this is one of the nationally designated registered tangible cultural properties of 11 ケ places in Tsuyama city. This building is a stone-style (2nd floor) Western-style building at the former Doi Bank / head office, but it is a two-story wooden building. The scenery seen from the front is beautiful, but the scenery seen from the east side and the back is also beautiful, so I recommend it (see attached photo). In addition, [Okinabashi] on the east side of [Sakushu Folk Art Museum] is also a nationally designated registered tangible cultural property ...
A Renaissance-style building that strictly observes the rules of symmetry and harmony. It was built as a bank along the Izumo Highway in the Josai district of Tsuyama City in 1842, and after that, it was owned by Tsuyama City after a transition. It has been used as a sakushu folk art museum since 1992. Inside, folk crafts and local toys were exhibited in this region, but local events were held on the day I visited, which was very busy. The folk art museum was the main venue, and it was used for milk hall, various exhibitions and stages.
A building built as a bank building called DOI bank in 1842

Southwestern part of Tsuyama city. It is at the edge of the area that retains the remnants of the castle town. Taisho Renaissance design that suddenly appears there. Due to the size of Do hall 々, the strict left and right symmetrical design is more heavy 々 than gorgeous. It is said that it was built as a bank building called Doi Bank in 1842.

It was a bank building.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Tsuyama Castle. It is a building of Doi Bank built in the Taisho Period, a Western-style building.
