Jiangsu University (Jiangsu University) is located in the beautiful Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. Approved by the Ministry of Education in August 2001, the former Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and Zhenjiang Medical College were merged to form a comprehensive teaching and research university featuring engineering. The school has the same origin as Nanjing University, Southeast University and other schools. The history of running a school can be traced back to the Sanjiang Normal School founded in Nanjing in 1902. In 1978, it was identified by the State Council as one of the 88 key universities in the country. In 1981, it became the first batch of universities in the country with the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees.
