If Sayram Lake is fascinating with its snow-capped mountains, Bosten Lake is known for its vastness. The entire lake area is divided into several scenic spots that need to be visited separately. The Bailuzhou scenic spot was closed and could not be visited. I went to Lianhai World first, and then to Dahekou Scenic Area.”

We first visited the Lotus Sea World and then the Dahekou Scenic Area. Here you can experience the scene of seagulls flying and tourists rushing to feed them, just like the Dianchi Lake in Kunming.”

Lotus Sea World Scenic Area has water lilies in summer and reeds in autumn. You can also feed seagulls. The wind is quite strong, so be sure to wear more clothes.”

欲飞的鸟:“【Lotus Lake】is one of a series of interconnected small lakes and swamps in the west of Bosten Lake in Bayinguoleng Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is named after the abundance of lotus and is the head of the famous Peacock River, about 30 kilometers away from Korla City. The reeds around the lake are dense and tall, and there are patches of lake lotus on the shallow lakeside, where many water birds and wild ducks float and play. Lotus Lake Scenic Area has built a water restaurant and a water platform, and has launched a number of water vacation and leisure and water sports projects such as yachts, speedboats, motorboats, rowing boats, boating, swimming, paddling, and water paragliding.”

The parking lot is too far from the entrance; they could use a park-and-go area. The exit is too commercialized, like a maze. Terrible.”

The grass carp was definitely fresh from the lake. As a fishing enthusiast, I still have this taste. It was awesome. The lactic acid concentration of the pickled pepper was just right.”
