Ji'an, Hualien | A Natural and Liveable Countryside Ji'an Township was the most relaxing time I've spent in Hualien. Unlike the bustling city, it's surrounded by rice paddies, streams, and distant mountains, and the air is filled with the faint fragrance of rice straw. Walking along the country paths, gazing at the Taroko Mountains beneath the blue sky and white clouds, I feel a gentle embrace of nature. Life in Ji'an is slow-paced, perfect for exploring by walking or cycling. Along the way, you'll often encounter small religious centers and farm shops, showcasing the authentic rural culture. If you'd like to stay longer, you can also find B&Bs that blend with the countryside, allowing you to experience the beauty of "living in the scenery."
