With origins dating back to the Roman era, it has witnessed centuries of battles and cultural changes. The fortress offers impressive stone walls, historic gates, and military architecture, along with beautiful walking paths in Kalemegdan Park. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the rivers and city skyline, especially at sunset. The site also features small museums, monuments, and outdoor exhibitions, making it both a historical and recreational space. We came here to pay homage to the heroes who are sleeping in a foreign country, and never forget the national humiliation! The new "Chinese Cultural Center" building was built on the site, reflecting the rise of the Chinese people.”
