Ainoshima Island, a paradise for cat lovers.

Located in Shinmiya-cho, Fukuoka Prefecture, Aijima, also known as Cat Island, is a healing island. Island cats live freely, they are used to being close to people, it is an excellent choice for cat lovers or you who want to relax. The island has a leisurely fishing village scenery, along the coast blue sky and white clouds, sea view with cats, all very chill, no pressure feeling.

Recommended routes and must-do items
- It is recommended to take the ferry from Shinmiyacho to Aijima, you will be greeted by many cats as soon as you get off the boat, remember to explore the whole island with a slow walk. The main route is along the coast path, near the wooden fenced resting location, various alleys and old fishing houses, the most cats gather, no need to look for, people and cats automatically have a bond.
- Must-photo spots include: near the pier, next to the wooden fence, the seaside path and the small bridge. The photo island is perfect for a natural-style travel shoot, where the cat and the sea view are composed together, which is already very beautiful without editing.

Tips for visiting attractions
- Never bring your own food to feed your cat. People on the island feed them regularly. Indiscriminate feeding will only affect the health of the cats and the island's ecology.
- The island facilities are simple, it is recommended to bring enough water and shade (especially in summer), there are not many shops on site, remember to be ready before you leave.
- Recommended to visit on weekdays, fewer tourists can enjoy interacting with cats and taking pictures, weekends/holidays are crowded and cats may avoid the bustle.
- Pay attention to the boat schedule at the pier, missing the last ferry will have to stay on the island, pay attention to the ferry schedule for the day.
- Respect the island residents and the cat living environment, avoid loud, chasing cats, zoom with the camera is OK.

Precautions
- Free admission throughout the island, but also keep it clean and take your own garbage away.
- Suitable for parents and children, but be aware that children do not chase and scare cats at will.
- In addition to cats, the island also has many natural scenery, seaside rock field and distant view of the fishing port on the other side are good, can be visited by the way.
