Check in was smooth but could do with giving more information about the hotel.
During the stay, only large towel is provided. No small towels. Not a problem for me as Iโm travelling solo.
I had the deluxe sea view and view is great too. Bed a comfortable. Pillows are great too.
Totally is fine. But I really don't like dark room. There were 2 bulbs down. I call that service at 6 pm, they directly came to check and they came back with new bulbs at 9pm. Maybe the replacement not available at that time. But because my children were sleeping at that moment so I cancel it.
It is the best hotel nearest to every POI in bukittinggi. The hotel's Saka Cafe level 4 provides great ambience and view overlooking scenic town view and panoramic view of the mountain and valley. The superior family room we were staying in is spacious and comfortable most suitable for 3 people. The breakfast was decent serving traditional delicacy. Toast and cereal for kids are available. The seating is limited but there was no queue problem. The exception is the only lift operational is slow serving 6 levels. However, we got around this by using stairs which are quite steep and hard on my poor knees. So, if you are visiting together with elderly with walking difficulty perhaps it would be best to stay in the rooms nearest to the ramp nearby the reception.
Despite only staying for a day, I was very satisfied. The room was clean and the food was delicious. My only minor suggestion would be for the restaurant to offer butter for the bread instead of margarine. Also, the room's fragrance was a bit too strong, almost overwhelming! (haha). Other than these points, everything was great.
Got free upgraded to Deluxe room upon check-in for one of the two rooms booked, due to the ongoing renovation work at 6th floor. ๐
Comfortable room even for Superior King room.
Breakfast was nice, especially the local fried rice. ๐
Recommend to stay at Truntum Hotel while you are in Padang, West Sumatera Indonesia. Although we had only a few hours at the hotel due to major traffic accident on Solok - Padang road, we were happy on the room cleanliness, good buffet breakfast, wide amenities and excellent front desk customer service eventhough we checked in after midnight. Will stay here again on the next trip to Padang. Thank you the Truntum Hotel professionalism.
My checked in and checked out was handled by Ms Putri and it was smooth. Kudos to the housekeeping staff who made up my room. It was always perfectly refreshed when I am back to the room. Food served during breakfast was delicious and staffs were attentive and giving great service. Overall an enjoyable stay and definite thumbs up.Recommeded place to stay while in Padang.

NNadianThe hotel is right next to the mall and it is walking distance to alot of shops and opposite night market. Great location. Room is very comfortable, spacious and complete with basic amenities.
SSyahmi WazerEverything is just nice. Breakfast is so delicious! Iโm from Malaysia, but I can skip some of my Minang/Padang food hunting because they also provide local dishes, which are really tasty. The location is very close to Jam Gadangโwithin walking distance. The staff are friendly too.
The only thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was this: I didnโt hang the โI need room cleaningโ tag on my door because I was still in the room. A cleaning staff member knocked and said โroom cleaning,โ but I didnโt respond since I was still inside and hadnโt requested cleaning. Then, the staff used a key card to open the door. I felt a bit violated, though it wasnโt a big issue for me as I was alone and fully dressed.
However, it would be better if staff didnโt enter unless thereโs a clear request for cleaningโjust in case someone is inside and not properly dressed.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was spacious and the service was excellent. My child left a piece of clothing in the room and they helped us pack it in a bag and brought it to the lobby. It would be even better if there were two sockets installed at the head of the bed for charging mobile phones!

IImatahVery friendly service, strategic location, spacious parking, clean room, quite big, there is a balcony, just staying this time, no toothbrush and toothpaste, if you can come in front, there is always a toothbrush and toothpaste
XxxlimPadang is a coastal city at the West Coast of Sumatera.
The Hotel is clean n consider almost the 1 of the tallest building in Padang. With a Great View from the Roof Top of the Hotel that can see the Whole Padang.
There is a small Pool for u to work out and dipping.
Other then that there isn't any gym.
Breakfast is normal not memorable.
The twin bed is small but comfy.
The Bathroom is like a capsule Abit small for me.
Hotel Staffs are friendly.
