Guest UserThe views are amazing! The front desk service wasn't great overall, though one young man who helped me initially was very good, but the others weren't as helpful. The biggest issue was how hot the rooms were. It was really uncomfortable in the summer. We booked two rooms, a standard room and a suite, and the air conditioning in both was terrible. You definitely need to book the restaurant in advance, you can order à la carte, and the service there was good, and the food was quite tasty. There's really nothing around the hotel, not even a convenience store.

Guest UserThe hotel is relatively new and the facilities are decent, seemingly quite upscale. However, the service completely shattered my long-held belief that Japan has the best service. The electric kettle in my room wasn't working; I wanted to make coffee, but the water temperature never increased beyond a lukewarm setting. I informed the front desk, and a young, delicate-looking woman came. After I explained, she opened the lid and said, 'This is hot water.' I poured it into a cup, and she touched it, saying, 'That's how it is.' I told her, 'This is only 40-50 degrees Celsius, how can I brew tea or coffee with this? I need boiling temperature.' She replied that she couldn't do that. I asked her what temperature a kettle should boil to, and she said there was no standard! I then told her the kettle was broken and asked her to replace it, to which she said they didn't have any. I ended up pouring a bottle and a half of cold water into the kettle, and when it still didn't heat up, she finally took it away. Throughout the entire interaction, her expression was blank and her attitude was slow and indifferent. I used to tell my friends that Japanese people's warm service isn't necessarily because they like you, but because their upbringing and professional ethics don't allow them to be rude. Now, I've witnessed such service in a 4/5-star hotel.

YishuangxiuhuaxieThis hotel is located on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Atami, and it's quite spacious inside. The rooms are clean, tidy, and hygienic. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. Plus, there's a hot spring bath to enjoy. It's a peaceful and serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle, offering mountains, water, great food, drinks, and hot springs. I'm already planning to return to Atami New Akasaka next time!

BeijinglaonongGreat location! I chose this place after seeing in the reviews that it's run by a Chinese couple. We experienced an earthquake and a typhoon during our two-day stay, so we couldn't go sightseeing elsewhere. We just explored the surrounding area when the rain eased up. I often come to Japan for vacation and have stayed in all sorts of hotels and guesthouses. Overall, this place is pretty good. I met the proprietress when checking in and the owner when checking out. Not bad at all! The hotel also offers several free shuttle buses.

Alex V. MormyshevA wonderful hotel that makes you want to return again and again. We were absolutely delighted with our trip! The main advantages are the incredible seclusion, the amazing surrounding nature, and the captivating beautiful view that you can admire endlessly, plus excellent transfer service. The room is simply stunning: stylish, cozy, and impeccably clean. The local onsen is a special treat; bathing in it is wonderfully relaxing and brings a sense of complete tranquility. The culinary experience deserves the highest praise. The wonderful dinner in traditional Japanese style was a true gastronomic discovery, and breakfast was very tasty and filling. Huge thanks to all the staff for their very polite, attentive, and warm hospitality. We loved everything and didn't want to leave. We will definitely come back here again! Thank you!

Guest UserThe hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to and from Izu Kogen. Shuttles to the station depart hourly starting at 9:30 AM, and pickups from the station start at 2:30 PM, also hourly. No reservations are needed, so just show up a bit early to catch it.
The hotel's location is decent. It's not right on the beachfront, but it's situated on higher ground, offering views of the distant mountains and sea. However, visibility might be poor on cloudy days. The private indoor onsen is fantastic. They also provide free self-service washing machines and dryers, which is a huge plus for travelers needing to do laundry – super convenient!
The breakfast buffet is pretty standard and doesn't change much. They start ushering guests out promptly at 9:30 AM. We had two different dinners; one was delicious, the other was just okay. In the afternoon, there are complimentary snacks, drinks, and even ice-cold beer, which was light, refreshing, and really hit the spot.
Overall, it's a good accommodation option in the Izu Kogen area.
BTW, if you have some extra time while waiting for your train at Izu Kogen Station, there's a Teddy Bear Factory nearby worth checking out, with lots of adorable bears. During our stay, there was also a Totoro exhibition with a workshop where you could make your own Totoro!

Narima MWe really enjoyed our stay here! While the hotel is a little out of the way, it was the perfect choice for us as it's conveniently located near the speedway, which was the main reason for our visit. If you're driving, the free parking is a huge plus, and there's also a shuttle service if you don't have a car.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept very well. Very good gym which we utilised After a relaxing soak in the onsen, enjoying the complimentary milk was such a nice touch and something we looked forward to.
We added breakfast to our stay, and it was definitely worth it. There was a wide variety of delicious Japanese and Western options, with plenty to choose from each morning.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay with excellent facilities and friendly staff. We'd definitely stay here again, especially if we're visiting the speedway.

Guest UserDefinitely worth the price for an onsen hotel. The ocean view and tatami style bedroom are the highlight for my stay here! There is free bus shuttle service scheduled by the hotel, as a solo traveller who doesn’t drive, this definitely is a plus point! Will book my stay at here next time when I visit Atami :)

Guest UserThis hotel is super conveniently located, just 100 meters to the right after exiting Shizuoka Station's North Exit. There's a supermarket and mall right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. It's also within walking distance of Surugaya and a few other malls. While the hotel facilities are a bit older, they are very well-maintained, clean, and hygienic – the bedding, in particular, was incredibly comfortable. We booked a triple room for two adults and two children, and it came with three beds and enough space to open our suitcases flat. The room was very spacious.

The structure seems to be a legacy of the bubble era. The luxurious layout allows you to move between the main building and each building via pedestrians.
It's reminiscent of the 5-star hotels of Phuket and Bali of the past. The all-inclusive plan also feels like good value.
Unfortunately, however, maintenance of the interior and exterior has not kept up, and various parts are badly deteriorated. The bathhouse is also made of good granite, so it should be polished properly. The exterior walls are so black that you want to use a Karcher cleaner. I wish it was a little cleaner.
