While the room wasn't huge, it had all the essential amenities and the location was excellent. There were plenty of dining options nearby, making it super convenient for both getting around and eating out. The only downside was the inconsistent hot water supply; it wasn't hot enough and quickly turned cold, which really impacted my shower experience. I hope they can improve their hot water system.

Beautiful rooms and the Club Suites are worth the splurge! 😆😆😆 We are right smack in the centre of everything! Walking distance to Main Bazaar, India Street… our first day we walked to Ceylonese restaurant our favourite restaurant which is just a short 8 minutes walk away! Very safe and secured location Very centrally located walking distance to museums, shopping, food etc Amazing food and drinks in hotel even their in room dining is amazing!😆😆😆 DO Splurge on their Club rooms or suites - worth every penny you spent! Amazing amazing views!!!! Overall, my stay was excellent. The hotel is located in a prime spot in the heart of Kuching, right by the Sarawak River, making it a super convenient city hotel. 📍 **Outstanding Location** The hotel's location is one of its biggest highlights. You can easily walk to the Kuching Waterfront, the Cat Statues, Chinatown, and numerous restaurants and cafes. Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, it's a huge time-saver – you can complete most of your itinerary just by walking. 🛏️ **Comfortable and Spacious Rooms** The room size was larger than expected, with a sensible layout, comfortable beds, and excellent air conditioning. Some room types offer city or river views, which are beautiful at night, perfect for relaxing. The overall hygiene was good, making it a great value-for-money option. 🧹 **Service and Facilities** The front desk service was efficient, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The hotel provides essential facilities like elevators, Wi-Fi, and breakfast service, which are perfectly adequate for daily needs. 🍽️ **Breakfast and Surroundings** The breakfast is a simple affair, but it's enough to kickstart your day. A bigger bonus is the abundance of fantastic eateries nearby. The hotel's location is excellent, right above a mall. It's also in the bustling city center. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. The room itself is good, too. My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn't cold at all. We switched to a second room, and the AC was still just as warm. 🙄

Out of my surprise this hotel is newly built and operate since March 2026 and very convenient as walking distance to biggest mall in Sarawak- Vivacity Megamall and u can have everything settle over there for food, leisure , shopping, movie etc. While convenience store just located beside the hotel. Easy to move around to BCCK for event and event grab away to Water front area. Cosy stay and the level 5 check in counter is impressive, with nice music and the waiting lounge is amazing with free flow coffee, tea & water. Their concierge service is good. Front desk staff is friendly. Things to improve: - outsource breakfast to Kopitiam beside 7eleven as their serving is very slow and not key in order accordingly with the limited breakfast choices & not buffet style which will be more convenient. - to have a place for laundry service since 11-14floor is not yet operate…

I stayed here for a few nights and had a generally acceptable experience. The room itself was a bit old and dated. However, looking past the dated decor, the overall stay was okay. The room was kept clean, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, and all the basic amenities worked without any major issues. The staff were friendly, and the location was quite convenient. If you are looking for a modern, luxury experience, this might not be the place for you. But if you just need a functional, reasonably priced place to crash for a couple of days, it gets the job done. It's nothing fancy, but overall ok.

The view was absolutely spot on - definitely the highlight of the stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Kuching Waterfront, making it very convenient to explore nearby attractions, cafes, and local spots. Everything was within easy reach, and the area has a really nice, relaxing vibe, especially in the evening. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The convenience of being able to walk around without needing transport made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in a strategic location with a great view.

Great location to have day and night view of Sarawak river and access its fabulous water front. Also had a dip at its swimming pool . The sound proof windows can not totally block off noise from the roaring motor bike passing the street. Wash liquid are empty in the bathroom

The most noteworthy feature of this hotel is the incredibly spacious rooms. After researching all the available options in Bintulu, I can confidently say that Goldenbay Hotel offers the best value for money. I would certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area. The amenities were another high point of the trip. It was a lucky coincidence that a comb was provided, as I had forgotten to pack one. Furthermore, I was impressed by the quality of the hair and body shampoos. It is rare for me to enjoy hotel-provided toiletries, but these left me feeling truly clean and lathered up well. To top it off, the rooftop offers a gorgeous view, especially during sunset. However, there were a few drawbacks during my stay. I booked two rooms; while my room was fine, the second room had significant lighting issues. Although the reception sent a technician to help, they only managed to fix one light. Even after the repair, that room remained much dimmer than mine. Additionally, the bidet in my own bathroom was leaking. It felt a bit ironic to see multiple signs encouraging guests to save water and use the bidet instead of paper when the fixture itself wasn't working properly. Lastly, the breakfast was a bit of a letdown. The selection was quite limited, and the taste was only average. If I return to this hotel in the future, I would likely book a room-only rate and find breakfast elsewhere.

Thanks Roxy Team for the service! Really love it. However, there’s no hook in the toilet to hang our bathing towel and the aircond was loud even after trying to control it. Other than that, everything was excellent and comfortable!
