It was a very satisfying stay overall. The staff were friendly and responded quickly whenever I needed assistance. Thanks to Liu and Ding, I was able to stay very comfortably. I really appreciate their help. Location – The location is very convenient. It’s within about a 10-minute walk to Wanxiangcheng and around 5 minutes to May Fourth Square. It was also easy to catch a taxi right in front of the hotel. Room – The room was spacious and apartment-style, which makes it a great option for stays longer than one night. It was clean, and the slippers were replaced daily. The refrigerator was large, and having a separate living room makes it especially suitable for families. The only minor downside was that the bathroom shower head was quite small and a bit inconvenient to use. I brought a portable shower head, which worked well for me. And the hair dryier was not that good. Overall, it was a very satisfying place to stay. I had a great experience.

This was an upgraded room given to us by the owner, with a sea view. I deliberated for a long time before booking this B&B, originally thinking that because of the low price, it might not be that great. But as soon as we checked in, my husband praised me, saying I booked an amazing place, better than the chain hotels we've stayed in. Although prices are low in Weihai, this place definitely felt like a 200-300 yuan hotel. The sunlight was great, not at all depressing, and the kids had a wonderful time. The only thing is, it would be even better if the hotel had more elevators. Right downstairs, across the street, is the sea. There are people taking photos, places to eat, electric scooter rentals, and kids playing in the sand. Many influencers were taking photos downstairs – it was truly fantastic! The room also has cooking facilities and sand toys for the kids. The whole experience was superb!

I always worry about being cold when staying in a hotel in winter, so I specifically looked for one with floor heating, and it was really warm. The room was also quite spacious. Highly recommended! There were no strange smells in the room, and the decor was simple and stylish, exactly the kind of hotel vibe I prefer.

This time we brought our 14-month-old baby to Qingdao for a relaxing trip, and choosing the Hyatt was absolutely the right decision! Even before we arrived, they communicated with me online to arrange a crib and bed rail, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's café has direct access to the beach, so every morning we could take the little one down to play for a bit before coming back for breakfast! This was so convenient for low-energy parents like us! Overall, the service was excellent, with no real shortcomings!

I specifically chose the Xinguang Marriott Hotel in Yantai for a relaxing getaway, and it definitely didn't disappoint! The environment is incredibly elegant and the decor is very stylish – every photo I took turned out beautifully. Airla at the front desk provided excellent service, helping me resolve many issues. The room assignment was also perfect; the room offered a wide, expansive view with beautiful scenery. Her attitude was superb; she always greeted me with a warm smile, making me feel very welcome and comfortable. The attention to detail was also impressive, from the high-quality, pleasantly scented toiletries to the welcome fruit of Yantai's specialty apples. The hotel also has parent-child facilities, making it very kid-friendly and suitable for young children traveling. I spent a very pleasant weekend here; it's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I'll definitely be back!

The room was unexpectedly clean. I was a bit worried it might be cold when I booked, but it was surprisingly warm, with its own heating system. The sofa was very cozy, and the decor was quite artistic. The owner was incredibly kind; we had a minor issue, and they resolved it very promptly, which was a huge relief! The all-glass exterior offered fantastic views, and it was so pleasant. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and you could even capture beautiful night views right from the room. This hotel is definitely a great choice for travel.

FFrom a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question. After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

YYanieve⸻ Just returned from a stay at Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel—a solid choice near Shilaoren Bathing Beach and the International Convention and Exhibition Center 🤩. With an impressive overall Trip.com rating of 8.8/10, guests rave about its service, cleanliness, and convenience . The location scores about 8.9/10—it’s roughly a ten-minute walk to the sandy beach and sits just 8.5 km from Qingdao’s downtown core and 14 km from Qingdao North Railway Station. Not ideal if you need a car—there’s no on-site parking (). Amenities and service both come in around 8.6–8.9/10, with friendly staff and smooth check‑in/out process (). Cleanliness is top notch with a clean rating of 9.0/10 . 🌞 What stood out: • Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring big windows and modern décor in a sleek New‑Chinese style. Everything felt new and well-kept . • The beds are comfy (2.2 × 2.2 m, pure cotton linens), showers felt luxurious, and the soundproofing was excellent. Also enjoy convenient rapid check‑out service with personal touches . • The breakfast buffet gets solid praise—tasty and well-rounded start to the day (). 💤 Stay comfort: 9.0/10 • Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed rooms made for a relaxing and bright stay. 📍 Location: 8.9/10 • Close to beach access and the expo center, plus shopping and transit nearby—but no parking if you’re driving. 🤝 Service: 8.9/10 • Staff are described as friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out are seamless. 🛎️ Amenities: 8.6/10 • Offers the basics—Wi-Fi, in-house restaurant (light meals available), and cozy space—but lacks a gym or pool . ⸻ ✅ Quick tips: • Ask for a seaview or beach‑side room—light is great, and views are peaceful 🌊🌅. • It’s walkable to the sand and just a short ride from Qingdao International Convention Centre. • No parking, so if you’re self-driving, plan to park nearby or use public transport 🚉. • No fitness center or pool, but hey—you’re steps from the beach 🏖. ⸻ Final verdict: With modern rooms, sparkling clean spaces, strong service, and a primo location near Shilaoren Beach and the convention center, Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel scores a solid 9/10. Great pick for business travelers or chill beach escapes alike! 😌✨

DDadadajingAn unexpectedly great stay! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao. This stay was incredibly satisfying! (The first 4 photos are of a corner room, the last 3 are a standard king room). 💰 Value for money: We booked a deluxe king room for ¥2033 for two nights. For this quality, right next to May Fourth Square, I truly think it's excellent value for money, especially with the high-floor sea view. 🛏️ Room experience: Initially, we were assigned room 1607, a standard king room. When we went upstairs, we happened to see the adjacent room 1608 (a corner room) being cleaned. It was noticeably larger and also had a sea view. I tried asking the front desk if we could upgrade for an extra fee, but to my surprise, they said it was actually the same room type. However, they acknowledged the corner room was indeed larger with a better view. They ended up coordinating for us to switch to it the next day. (A friendly tip for those wanting a corner room: prioritize room 08 on each floor.) 🙏 Warm service: The most touching moment was on our way back home. We were catching the high-speed train and were in such a rush that we didn't have time to go back to the hotel for our luggage. We had to call the hotel from the train station. The staff were incredibly cooperative, helping us hand our luggage over to a taxi driver, and it was successfully delivered to us in the end. This kind of crucial help really made a huge difference. 📍 Location: Vientiane City and May Fourth Square are nearby, within a 10-minute walk. Getting a taxi or taking the subway downstairs is also super convenient. Overall, whether it's the location, service attitude, room comfort, or value for money, this stay was a 99.9% success 😂. Next time I come to Qingdao, I will definitely choose The Westin again!

AAnonymous UserI had the pleasure of staying at this Crowne Plaza during my trip to Qingdao, and it truly felt like a five-star experience. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service is absolutely top-notch, a truly mature five-star standard. It's been a long time since I've experienced such excellent, standard five-star service (many hotels nowadays might look good, but their staff training is often lacking). The suite I stayed in was fantastic, every area was spotless, and the windows were bright and clean. A hotel is really a combination of hardware and software, and the outstanding service (software) here more than makes up for the slight age of the facilities (hardware). I highly, highly recommend this hotel.

Wwurui0831Everything about the room service was great, but there was a telescope in the executive lounge next to a metal sculpture. The metal sculpture was very sharp, and my wife's forehead got red when she was looking through the telescope with our child and accidentally bumped into it. If she had pushed a bit harder, it could have easily broken the skin. It would be even more dangerous if a child directly hit it. The hotel's safety management clearly has flaws. Additionally, the facilities in the kids' play area pose safety risks; screws on the toy cars are exposed, and there's a hanging squid decoration with a sharp, low-hanging end on the ceiling. I hope the hotel addresses these issues.

MM599736****Five-star review! Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort is incredibly worthwhile. The room we booked was a delightful surprise. The balcony offers a direct view of Aoshan Bay, and watching the sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning! It's just a hundred meters walk to the Ocean Bromide Salt Hot Springs, so you can enjoy both a relaxing soak and ocean views. The kids' water park kept my child entertained to no end. The window seats really set a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and even proactively upgraded our room. The service was attentive to every detail. This is definitely our top choice for a family vacation, and we'll be back next time!

XXiaoyao612For our last night, we chose this hotel again, opting for a sea view king room. The main reason was the excellent service, which is a huge plus when traveling with children. **Facilities:** This particular room's facilities were a bit old-fashioned; the furniture clearly showed its age and had some damage. The bathroom was even more cramped than in other room types, and the sink was very low, almost like it was designed for children. However, the overall room space was very generous. I think this room's bathroom is definitely in need of a renovation. **Hygiene:** Hygiene is a hallmark of this hotel; their attention to detail is superb! The best thing about this room was the expansive sea view, which also included some mountain scenery. **Environment:** It's in a prime location with convenient transportation. **Service:** The service here always deserves direct praise. The doormen, front desk staff, and breakfast area staff are all fantastic. Their employees pay great attention to detail. For example, when I took my child downstairs to look for something, he wasn't wearing shoes. On our way back, seeing the carpet, I let him run, not paying much attention myself since it was a bit chilly and rainy in Qingdao that day. But Room Service Auntie #19 noticed immediately and quickly went to find children's slippers for him. It's truly a reassuring place to stay!
