I originally booked this hotel in Yantai just for a layover before taking a ferry, and I never expected it to be so fantastic! The first reaction from my four friends when we entered the room was, ”Wow, this is so luxurious, like a presidential suite!” There was even a game console in the room, making it perfect for families with kids. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The front desk staff, both the young lady and the older woman, had excellent service attitudes. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Yantai.

Essentially an apartment, but with hotel-style management and excellent service. The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise; I hardly found any dirty spots, and the linens were spotless. The view is absolutely stunning, with three floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom all facing the ocean directly. The room's facilities are a bit dated, though, and there's no smart home control system. The decor feels like it's from a decade ago.

The hotel is in a great location right by the sea, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely designed. The price was also very reasonable for what you get.
The reception can be a bit hard to find at first, as it’s located on the second floor. You need to take the first elevator to level 2, where there are signs showing the way. Once there, check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff were easy to communicate with.
The room itself was large and comfortable. However, the hotel provided only a limited number of towels, which could be improved. On the positive side, the hair dryer was good and worked well.
Overall, a great value stay with a nice seaside location. Would recommend for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel. 🌊🏨✨

I bought a voucher for the Qingdao Haitian Hotel, and it offered great value for money. The front desk proactively upgraded me to a sea-view room on the 31st floor, which had a fantastic view. The bellboy was enthusiastic and helped with my luggage. The WeChat concierge provided information on dining and public areas and even gave me a small gift, demonstrating very attentive service, although perhaps a little *too* enthusiastic. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich, with specialties like freshly-made wontons. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for walks along the seaside. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The location is incredibly convenient, right next to all the attractions. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. All the facilities were complete and worked perfectly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The value for money is absolutely amazing – I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

I always worry about being cold when staying in a hotel in winter, so I specifically looked for one with floor heating, and it was really warm. The room was also quite spacious. Highly recommended! There were no strange smells in the room, and the decor was simple and stylish, exactly the kind of hotel vibe I prefer.

This is the only hotel in the city center with direct beach access, boasting an excellent location. There are plenty of food delivery options nearby. The hotel also has direct access to the beach, so you wake up to the sound of waves every day. The pool is very clean and even has a kids' pool. Our butler, Sheila, provided excellent service, always responsive to our requests. The cleaning staff also did a great job every day. Overall, a fantastic experience! We'll definitely stay at Hyatt Regency Qingdao again on our next visit.

This hotel is located in Yantai Development Zone, which is a bit out of the way. We arrived in Weifang from Beijing a day early and stayed overnight. On April 5th, around 11:50 AM, we arrived at Yantai Xinguang Marriott Hotel. A male staff member at the entrance enthusiastically and proactively helped us with directions and our luggage.
When I got to the front desk, I handed my ID to a female staff member. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just didn't like me, but she immediately started scolding me, saying, 'Don't you know check-in isn't until 3 PM? We don't have any rooms available for immediate check-in right now.' I was truly taken aback by her attitude. I said we could have lunch first and then check in when a room was ready. After a while, she pulled out a room key and said a room had just become available. I thanked her, but then she said we only had one breakfast included. I told her I booked the room and clearly reserved two breakfasts. After another moment, she then confirmed it was indeed two breakfasts. I then asked about the breakfast times and location, and the Chinese restaurant's times and location. She impatiently replied, 'That's enough, you can go.'
After I left, I remembered that I booked an executive room, and she hadn't mentioned anything about the executive lounge. So, I went back to the front desk and asked why she hadn't told me about the executive lounge benefits. She then asked, 'Did you book an executive lounge room?' I told her my booking confirmation should have the relevant details. After thinking for a moment, she said the 19th floor had executive lounge benefits and then took out a piece of paper from her desk with the executive lounge's hours and location.
I don't understand why a front desk staff member at a five-star hotel would have such a work attitude. How can she be so disrespectful and rude to guests? After receiving a customer's ID, they should be able to look up all the booking information. Why were there so many inconsistencies? Was it just because I arrived early? Should I be chastised like that just for arriving early? What was she thinking while working, being so distracted? We seniors don't come here to be treated so poorly; it's absolutely outrageous.
I later reported this situation to another front desk staff member and requested to speak with a front desk supervisor. Afterward, a lady told me that the staff member was new. I don't believe being new is a valid excuse for such behavior. The hotel's front desk is its face, and if someone's service is so poor, why are they working at the front desk?
The facilities and equipment in the hotel room are mostly complete, but they do feel a bit dated. The breakfast selection is varied, and the taste is decent.

The room was unexpectedly clean. I was a bit worried it might be cold when I booked, but it was surprisingly warm, with its own heating system. The sofa was very cozy, and the decor was quite artistic. The owner was incredibly kind; we had a minor issue, and they resolved it very promptly, which was a huge relief! The all-glass exterior offered fantastic views, and it was so pleasant. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and you could even capture beautiful night views right from the room. This hotel is definitely a great choice for travel.

XXiaowanzidexiaotaoziFirst of all, the service is really good. The uncle outside the door is very enthusiastic to help direct the parking space. The doorman Xiao Gao took the initiative to accompany the luggage to the room. The front desk smiled and had a very good service attitude. Seeing that there were children with children, they helped to apply for an extra breakfast, and took the initiative to send a set of toiletries and slippers 🩴. In the evening, they also sent an extra quilt. Fruits, water, and yogurt were constantly delivered. When I left, they also sent a special one for the road. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. Although there are many guests, the breakfast is updated quickly, and the guests are also sent to wait for meals. In short, although it is an old hotel with some old facilities and some parts are not very easy to use, it wins in service and has a good location. Basically, you can go shopping (Zhenhua, Joy City, Wanda are all nearby) and go to the main street attractions by walking. It takes 10 to 20 minutes to take a taxi for a slightly farther distance. There is a bus at the door 🚌, which is very convenient. Liu Yunxia, Xiao Du, Xiao Zhang, the service is very good👍

GGuest UserStaying on a high floor, the view is superb, there is a night light show, the hygiene is excellent, there is plenty of hot water, a comfortable mattress, plenty of drinking water, tea brewing, a huge curtain, theater sound system, breakfast included, and convenient eating out. There is a Golden Lion Square, Jinding Square, and Shilaoren Beach. You can play in the water during the day and go hiking.... Next time I come to Qingdao, I will arrange to stay for more days. Staying here will never disappoint you. Great!

DDadadajingAn unexpectedly great stay! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao. This stay was incredibly satisfying! (The first 4 photos are of a corner room, the last 3 are a standard king room).
💰 Value for money: We booked a deluxe king room for ¥2033 for two nights. For this quality, right next to May Fourth Square, I truly think it's excellent value for money, especially with the high-floor sea view.
🛏️ Room experience: Initially, we were assigned room 1607, a standard king room. When we went upstairs, we happened to see the adjacent room 1608 (a corner room) being cleaned. It was noticeably larger and also had a sea view. I tried asking the front desk if we could upgrade for an extra fee, but to my surprise, they said it was actually the same room type. However, they acknowledged the corner room was indeed larger with a better view. They ended up coordinating for us to switch to it the next day. (A friendly tip for those wanting a corner room: prioritize room 08 on each floor.)
🙏 Warm service: The most touching moment was on our way back home. We were catching the high-speed train and were in such a rush that we didn't have time to go back to the hotel for our luggage. We had to call the hotel from the train station. The staff were incredibly cooperative, helping us hand our luggage over to a taxi driver, and it was successfully delivered to us in the end. This kind of crucial help really made a huge difference.
📍 Location: Vientiane City and May Fourth Square are nearby, within a 10-minute walk. Getting a taxi or taking the subway downstairs is also super convenient.
Overall, whether it's the location, service attitude, room comfort, or value for money, this stay was a 99.9% success 😂. Next time I come to Qingdao, I will definitely choose The Westin again!

MMaberaeA Truly Memorable Stay – Can’t Wait to Return!
Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. Tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area, it was the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle of everyday life. The surroundings were simply breathtaking — the views alone made the trip unforgettable!
The room and amenities were impeccably maintained, offering both comfort and convenience. Dining was a highlight — both the Japanese restaurant and the buffet served absolutely exquisite meals that we’re still talking about.
What truly made our stay special, though, was the incredible hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Nancy, Kitty, and Aria for going above and beyond to make our experience the best ever. You made us feel truly welcome and cared for.
My family and I are already planning our return — this time for a longer stay, and we hope to try out the water sports as well. Can’t recommend this place enough!

GGuest UserWe were a family of three checking in on March 26th. Joy, the lady with glasses who checked us in, was incredibly warm and attentive, always serving us with a smile. She was very friendly and even upgraded us to a suite. She thoughtfully sent up a bathtub liner for us, and the ice and spoon we requested arrived in our room very quickly. She also helped my husband switch to a buckwheat pillow. When we asked for housekeeping during our stay, she even folded our pajamas neatly. Our 2-night stay was excellent, and we'll definitely choose an InterContinental hotel again in the future.

Wwurui0831Everything about the room service was great, but there was a telescope in the executive lounge next to a metal sculpture. The metal sculpture was very sharp, and my wife's forehead got red when she was looking through the telescope with our child and accidentally bumped into it. If she had pushed a bit harder, it could have easily broken the skin. It would be even more dangerous if a child directly hit it. The hotel's safety management clearly has flaws. Additionally, the facilities in the kids' play area pose safety risks; screws on the toy cars are exposed, and there's a hanging squid decoration with a sharp, low-hanging end on the ceiling. I hope the hotel addresses these issues.

MM599736****Five-star review! Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort is incredibly worthwhile.
The room we booked was a delightful surprise. The balcony offers a direct view of Aoshan Bay, and watching the sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning! It's just a hundred meters walk to the Ocean Bromide Salt Hot Springs, so you can enjoy both a relaxing soak and ocean views. The kids' water park kept my child entertained to no end.
The window seats really set a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and even proactively upgraded our room. The service was attentive to every detail. This is definitely our top choice for a family vacation, and we'll be back next time!

XXiaoyao612For our last night, we chose this hotel again, opting for a sea view king room. The main reason was the excellent service, which is a huge plus when traveling with children.
**Facilities:** This particular room's facilities were a bit old-fashioned; the furniture clearly showed its age and had some damage. The bathroom was even more cramped than in other room types, and the sink was very low, almost like it was designed for children. However, the overall room space was very generous. I think this room's bathroom is definitely in need of a renovation.
**Hygiene:** Hygiene is a hallmark of this hotel; their attention to detail is superb! The best thing about this room was the expansive sea view, which also included some mountain scenery.
**Environment:** It's in a prime location with convenient transportation.
**Service:** The service here always deserves direct praise. The doormen, front desk staff, and breakfast area staff are all fantastic. Their employees pay great attention to detail. For example, when I took my child downstairs to look for something, he wasn't wearing shoes. On our way back, seeing the carpet, I let him run, not paying much attention myself since it was a bit chilly and rainy in Qingdao that day. But Room Service Auntie #19 noticed immediately and quickly went to find children's slippers for him. It's truly a reassuring place to stay!
