After nearly three years without an overseas holiday, it was finally time to take the plunge and book a relaxing getaway. My only pre-requisite was a destination where my days could be filled with lazy, sun-soaked moments and endless hours in the sea. My mind raced as I went through all the places that would fit the bill. Bali? Thailand? Malaysia? Vietnam? When I couldn’t decide- , a colleague recommended the Philippines. The Philippines? How hadn’t I thought of that? And without a second thought, my holiday to Boracay was booked!
