We're celebrating influential women during our contests at BlackStack! We've had Dolly Parton and RBG, but now it's Michelle Obama's turn! Build a team of up to 4 people and see how quickly you can complete a 500 piece puzzle. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams. There will also be door prizes. All teams get to keep their competition puzzle. HOW DOES IT WORK: Each team will receive the same puzzle concealed in a bag. No one will see the puzzle before the timer starts. After a countdown, teams will open their boxes and start puzzling. A competition judge will monitor teams and record finishing times. Once you have completed your puzzle, you may leave, or stay and work on another puzzle and enjoy a drink or two! RULES: You may eat and drink while competing You may use box top holders and sorting trays You are allowed to bring extra lighting as long as it does not need to be plugged in to an outlet and does not interfere with the lighting for other competitors. Grab a drink and warm up for the main event! Practice puzzles will be provided. 7-9pm: Speed puzzling contest starts - It's your time to shine! Tables are regular height and are a mixture of shared and single team tables. $40 per team There are no refunds, but if you are not able to make the event, we can arrange pick-up for your contest puzzle. STRONGintensive is a premier summer dance intensive designed for preprofessional artists aged 14-20 . Over the course of five transformative days , dancers will train closely with Artistic Director Darrius Strong , immersing themselves in an authentic dance company experience.
