Family Hotels in Kaafu Atoll, Maldives

After 11 years, I visited the Maldives again. It is really a paradise, and Patina's service is definitely the icing on the cake for this trip. Patina is a full-time butler-style service. After arriving, you don't have to wait for check-in in the lobby, you can go directly to the room, and then the butler has already arranged everything. Our essentialist is Naaish, a very good butler brother. Every day's dinner reservations and daily activity arrangements are all through the essentialist. They will work hard to solve any problems encountered. On the night of our arrival, we felt that the fence around the outdoor shower area was slightly gapped, and the privacy was not enough. After telling Naaish, workers were arranged to reinforce it early the next morning. If you want to participate in various activities in the hotel, Naaish will give you very pertinent suggestions. In the end, we went to the Dolphin Cruise and saw the dolphins and the sunset, a magnificent moment worth remembering for a lifetime. The other services of the hotel are also perfect. The steak I ate one night required a medium degree of doneness. It was a bit difficult to cut after it was served. I thought the steak knife was not very good, but the waiter didn't think so at all, so I got it from the back kitchen and remade it for me. I ordered a portion, and then the chef came out and explained that because the medium should not be difficult to cut, it must be their problem or the problem of the meat. This operation really made me a little dumbfounded. I ate at the Helio restaurant on the last night. It is very common to have a sudden change in the weather in the rainy season. After the appetizer and the main course, it suddenly rained heavily. The waiter helped us move into the indoor dining area. We hurriedly ate dessert and went back The room, in fact, everything is normal, but within half an hour the waiter brought a new dessert, because we felt that we hadn't eaten it well before. Every day at Patina is really beautiful, and I am very, very grateful to every employee for their service.

The island is beatiful and the resort is pretty much everything you should want. Rooms were spacious, and well equipped. The service and the staff is very good and friendly too. The only thing maybe worth mentioning is that there only one restaurant where you can eat when you do all inclusive/full board (Sea Breeze) which can get quite hot as it’s not a closed area, meaning no aircon. The remaining 3 restaurants are not included and are charged separately.

Definetely recommend to everyone to stay. Room was wide and comfortable. Ocean is incredible with turquoise color. Staff was friendly and helpful. Many kind of food was delicious. Trip.com provided the cheapest reservation option for us. So thank you all for this lovely vacation.

The hotel is located close to the airport, 10 minutes by boat, the megalopolis of Male is visible, so I felt like I was on an island in Abu Dhabu. Villas overlook another island and the ocean. The rooms in the building are tired - 3 stars. The shampoo and gel in the room were of low quality and differed from the assortment of the villa. When you fly with hand luggage, it is important to have high-quality cosmetics in the hotel. Is it really necessary to save on this? The air conditioner in the room did not turn off at all and was noisy, so I slept in earplugs. The weather was rainy and stormy, so all the minuses of the hotel crawled out. Firstly, the restaurant, bar and lobby are not cozy, without much design. Secondly, there was INSTANT coffee for breakfast. Espresso or cappuccino for breakfast were only for an additional fee. Thirdly, the full board food was not at all pleasing. Every day there was the same dry fish. Seafood - frozen and tasteless. Meat and chicken are ok. All fruits and vegetables are unripe, tasteless and of low quality. Sometimes there were dishes with tasty sauce. Fourthly, the reefs in the ocean are nothing special, there is no variety of fish. On the plus side - it is ok to go in and swim in the ocean, the hotel is quiet.

I stayed at Ozen as a ”transit” hotel because I had to board a plane the next day. It rained heavily on the first day we checked in, and the housekeeper had to serve several groups of people. Therefore, our briefing had to wait in the room for a long time before starting. (Isn’t there a butler for a group of guests?) On the second day, I visited the breakfast place. I personally thought that there were not many food choices, so I ordered a fried noodles (it was really delicious). In addition, when we went to drink soya milk, we found that What was flowing down was not only the white soya milk but also a few dead ants🐜. I was really shocked. As for the staff, I personally think they seem to work very hard and rarely smile. Including the free snorkeling activities we went to, we all had a bad experience. Staying at the Sheraton Maldives was an incredible experience. Out of all the resorts I’ve visited, this one stands out as amazing. They offer so much to do and keep you well informed. We had a personal assistant, Jennifer, who was fantastic in introducing us to everything and making us feel comfortable. During our stay, Russell helped us with all our needs. While waiting to check into our room, we enjoyed a relaxation room equipped with air conditioning, couches, mini beds, and showers. As soon as we arrived on the island by boat, we were treated like royalty with scented lavender cooling towels. We were greeted warmly as we boarded the deck and given a heartfelt goodbye when we left. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a wide variety of options. The beaches and water were pristine. My favorite part of the trip was the amazing staff—they were friendly, kind, and went out of their way to make us feel special. Everything was arranged seamlessly, from our boat trip to the island to our return to Malé. I can’t wait to go back!

Not long after the hotel opened, the surrounding snorkeling environment is average, there are no corals, and there are few fish. It is far away from the four seasons. The design of the water house is very good, the filming effect is very good, and the food quality is very high

Amazing stay at Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives. Brand new island resort, only recently opened a few months ago. The smiling, helpful team at Centara make you able to leave all worries behind and fully enjoy a carefree holiday in paradise. It is the team that makes hotel/resort stay great, and you can feel the positive energy of all the staff encountered. Most notably Emmi and Nicha from the Front Office when above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The whimsical design, inspired by the sea and marine life gives the resort a very happy, relaxed vibe. Designed as a haven for families to enjoy the Maldives, it's also great for couples to get away from the world. Fantastic choice for wonderful holiday, such a happy Maldives holiday experiance, with touches of the Thai hospitality that Centara is famous for.

I stayed here for the weekends and I love it. The price for me its more than worth it cause my room is spacey and its located in front of the beach. Its also just 5-10 minutes away ferry ride to the hotel from airport so its quite hassle free. For someone that easily annoyed with noise you might reconsider another hotel as there’s lot of seaplane passing by but its fine for me. Love the breakfast as lot of choices and variety. Definitely will visit Kurumba again!

This was my first time in the Maldives, and I chose this resort. Surprisingly, it had been raining heavily for several days before we arrived, but the weather turned exceptionally nice right when we got there—sunny every day. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly; they would always stop to greet us whenever we passed by. The young hostess (likely the restaurant manager) and some servers in the dining room remembered our room number. The shuttle cart staff (not sure if his name was Jasper), Raj from housekeeping (who’s from Nepal), and our host Mariyam were all wonderful—they kept asking if there was anything they could do to help. The Filipino staff member who performed the fire show, as well as the teams at the sports center and water activities, were also incredibly kind and professional. Meals were included in the package, while water sports required extra payment. The spa was excellent: two Indonesian ladies gave my husband and me massages, and the ambiance and service were very comfortable. Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience, with the exception of one significant issue on our departure day. During the final breakfast, the fish curry served was noticeably off—it had a strong, unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, after taking just one bite, it led to severe food poisoning. I became violently ill on the flight, vomiting repeatedly, and the sickness persisted hourly even after landing. This incident greatly marred the end of our otherwise wonderful stay. I sincerely hope you can address and improve your food safety and hygiene standards to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.
