We took our kids to Basel for two days. We took bus 50 from the airport and transferred to bus 30 at Basel SBB to get to the hotel. Bus 30 is right outside the hotel, and bus 14 is a short turn away to get to the city center. Bus 30 transfers to bus 8 to get to the Tri-Border Bridge. The hotel offers a Basel card. The hotel is very new, but I had a room on the street side, and every time a car passed by, it was very noisy when I was sleeping at night. But the facilities and beds were very new and clean. The breakfast was not as rich as other reviews wrote. I think if it is not Sunday, I can choose not to have breakfast in the hotel and eat outside.
Breakfast is on the eighth floor. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the train station. There are three hotels in one building, all owned by the same owner with different names. Bring all your own toiletries and slippers, and there is a kettle.
Great location, short walk to the old town, convenient tram stop right in front of the hotel. Standard room is tiny. Service is good and the building is new.
We had a deluxe room to the patio (lounge indoor) located. It was very quiet and beautifully equipped. Elktr. Jalousie, silent air conditioning, silent refrigerator with a wide range of drinks and snack filling. A huge comfortable shower in a bright, clean bathroom from glass to the high ceiling. ( With a white, airy light corner, which can be attracted to you, you could be concerned about more discretion. The whole hotel is beautiful and modernly furnished. Coffee is available in the rooms and in the foyer by Nespresso machines. The staff in the whole house is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extensive with a lot of choice. For the selection there were delicious filter coffee and Nespresso on the machine.
The facilities were clean, housekeeping were friendly and respectful,wi fi was very functional,Bartenders and receptionist were friendly and helpful,i wont forget Rufat and Melina for their kind gestures at the bar.😊
The location was very near to the train station, which is very ideal for travellers with big luggages. The hotel room was comfortable and the best part was that no travelling adaptors were needed. You can simply insert your electronic devices into the different sockets available!
Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market.

The room is ok, the size is right, the health is safe, and there is air conditioning. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. Very close to the airport, you can order a free special person drop-off service. Not far from basel sbb, bus direct. Forgot to bring a toothbrush to the front desk for free.
Convenient location - 5 minutes to the station by bus 30, runs often, stop is a step away. Nearby are the chic Spalentor gates, behind them the shopping space and the center practically begin. To stop bus 50 to the airport, walk about 5 minutes. The staff at the hotel is very friendly, at the reception there are gingerbread, some water, sweets, postcards, booklets, cards. Settled earlier than expected, late check-out without surcharges up to 12, then 50 francs. Dali basel card: free transport, incl. to the airport, and 50% discount for museums. There is also a code for entering the hotel after 22 (or 23, I don’t remember exactly), when there is no one at the reception. The breakfast is excellent, there are 7 types of cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, hot dishes, juices, water, jams, fruits, you can order scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, coffee, etc., on the 5th floor with beautiful views, a small room. The room is cozy, slippers, bathrobes, minibar, many different chandeliers and lamps. Quiet. TV is a cloud of programs, ours are not. The duvets are great, the pillows are so-so. Conclusion: I recommend.

RRachelsparklesThe whole journey was amazing. Switzerland is the cleanest country I’ve been to and this hotel fulfills my expectations. There weren’t toothpaste in the room so I left a note asking for it and the staff left a post it note with dental amenities in our bathroom after we left. Cutest thing I’ve experienced, would highly recommend this room too!
HHappy visitorThe reception staff are very helpful and forthcoming in providing prefessional services to guests. We enjoyed very much the nice breakfast of high quality in the cosy restaurant . The room was spacious and cleaned. The central location (close to bus/train stops) made it very easy to scenic spots . We made a very good choice of this hotel. The picture shows the dino outside the hotel which makes the environment relaxing.

AAnonymous UserHotel Schweizerhof location is excellent, only 2 minutes walk from the Main Train Station, and the city tram station is just in front of the hotel. They also provide us a free city tram bus ticket for our stay which is a bonus. We just slide our luggage onto the tram and then get off at the pier, only 15 minutes ride, to embark on our river cruise, so convenient.
The staff is also nice and recommended restaurants to us. 👍👍
